A Remarkable Adventure

I love this poem.

I love the rhythm that automatically comes just from reading it.

I have always want to memorize this so that I could recite it to one of my teachers as an excuse for why i didn't have my homework with me.  However I have never been able to recite it word for word. 

"We tumultuously tussled till I managed to get free..."  there are alot of big words in this poem.  Words that i would never think to use. 

One of my most favorite poems...i could never achieve something this grand.

No Sleep Tonight

How heavy is this glass of water?

It doesn't matter how much it actually weighs, the longer that you hold it in your hand the heavier it will become.  If you hold onto it long enough, eventually it will become so heavy that you will need surgery on your arm. 

Why is it that when we are holding a glass of water it is so easy just to set it down when we are too tired of holding it?  Then when we have the heavy load of stress (whatever it may be) sitting on our shoulders we cannot just simply set it aside and relieve ourselves from that pain?

Set aside the stress in your life, just for a little while to rejuvenate and get your strength back.  Go on a walk, clear your mind, change the scenery around you. 

If you let the stress weigh you down you will be up all night worrying. 

Let it go.

Get some sleep tonight.

Isn't life just the best when all you need is a light jacket?

That moment when it goes from winter to spring, and you just want to spend all of your time outside.  Go on a bike ride,  kick a ball around, throw some hoops, and of course wall ball.   This is the moment when anyone and everyone feels like a kid again.  We are unstoppable, we are on top of the world. 

It's like that moment in Tangled when she finally gets out of the tower and as soon as her toes touch grass it sets off something inside her.  She is suddenly on top of the world.

So what are we waiting for?

Take off your shoes, feel the grass between your toes, and just let loose.  Bring out that inner child in you.  Have the time of your life. 

This is it. 

This is our time.

The past few months have been hard here at Lone Peak.  I know deep down that everything will be ok. It will all work itself out somehow.  You just gotta keep moving forward.
